There had been two or three times that she’d tried some other jobs, as a makeup girl in a beauty salon or a hairwasher in a barbershop. But none had worked out. Either because of her frequent leave for taking care of her sons or because of no leave at all. In the last she was fi red from a hair salon because the manager couldn’t stand her son’s sick crying. That was years earlier. She’d only specialized in embroidery at home ever since.
